What is Gray Matters?
It’s a weekly newsletter of loosely related knowledge for the New Normal, which means almost anything we feel like talking about is fair game, but with a bias towards Productivity, Tech and Entrepreneurship with a dash of Philosophy and maybe even Crypto and Photography.

Meet Joan
Hi there, my name is Joan Gamell and I was born in a town near Barcelona, Spain. After moving a bit around the world, I settled down in San Francisco around 6 years ago.
I have been a Software Developer for most of my 11-year career with the exception of a 2.5-year stint as Engineering Manager. I currently work at Slack.
My go-to subjects are Tech, Productivity, Software Development, Self-Improvement and I am also into photography, so I might post a picture every now and then.

Meet Mario
I am Mario Chamorro and I am also from Spain, currently living in Madrid.
I work as Management Consultant for online companies mainly in the leisure industry (gambling similar dark business... everything legal, though). I also co-founded a ghost kitchen startup before it was cool.
You will find me here writing about Productivity and Organization, Startups, Tech and other long-term nerdy bets like Transhumanism or Bitcoin.
