Hi everyone!
I know, this has been silent for the last few… months? years? Damn, time flies. I am sorry, we are sorry. There’s no real reason other than a failure on our side to stick to creating content in a consistent way, which later degenerated to a complete abandonment of the newsletter.
But I want to change that! My life has changed a bit recently as I was let go from my job — I was one of these 8,000 employees that Salesforce let go a few weeks ago — and that has given me the chance to (cliche incoming…) pause, take stock and re-evaluate my life. Wow, that does indeed sound super cliché, but it’s also kinda true.
Anyway, long story short, I realized that I actually might have interesting stuff to say about tech, photography, productivity and even philosophy and life in general. Some of the things I am planning to write about:
Experimenting with setting up a Digital Garden of my own based on logseq
What Personal Knowledge Management System (PKMS) I am currently using and how I got there after literally years of iterating on it
Privacy and anonymity
I am sure I will come up with some rant or other about software development and tech industry, which is good because those seem to be my most viral posts ever.
If any of that sounds interesting and you’re not subscribed yet, this is the time 🙏
I hope I can make it worth your while and that I get
back into the fold too!I will shut up now and leave you with my #linklog
of interesting links that I saved recently:
I chuckled at the “the participation trophy generation” — so true:
San Francisco population falls to lowest level in over a decade
I mean, no wonder now many people can work from wherever they want, why would you stay in a super expensive, unsafe city full of trash?
